Project Summary


Like most large successful law firms in America, SharePoint has been deployed across the organization to provide collaboration and knowledge management business processes. Sullivan & Cromwell a Top 10 Most Prestigious Law required SoHo Dragon’s SharePoint essentials 1, 2 training materials to be delivered to its knowledge workers who meta tag the content and build out information discovery journeys for the user base.

The SharePoint intranet main objective was to increase productivity by creating synergy and context between the three elements that are at the success of the Sullivan & Cromwell:

  • People (Partners, paralegals, and legal secretaries)
  • Places (virtual workspaces such as customized -case rooms
  • Things (all of the content the company depends on — authored by people, managed by systems, and stored for easy retrieval)

The SharePoint deployment provided expertise profiling and  sophisticated content cataloging and retrieval; and comprehensive search and knowledge audits. The server crawls through structured and unstructured content in order to extract, organize, and store the data that may be relevant to a given business task.
